Here is a view of the front entrance as seen from the gravel pathway around the fish pond. The statue pours water from her vase that circulates through the pond and back again. Bricks from one of the outbuildings that was destroyed by hurricane Fran, have been recycled to make a beautiful entranceway walk for the main steps. The raised lower level was servants quarters at the time the house was converted from a Greek Revival to a Queen Anne Victorian. The roof is slate and many of the original tiles remain.
